General
This is the 38th annual Mach Tenn Triathlon. The race takes place on Arnold Air Force Base on Woods Reservoir at the Gossick Leadership Center. Though the race venue is on an Air Force base, it is not within the restricted access area but in a publicly accessible portion of the base property.
Course
The swim is a 0.6 mile loop in Woods Reservoir Lake. The start of the race is done in a time trial start format with one participant starting approximately every 3 to 6 seconds. The bike course loops around the lake. No hard climbs on the bike course but a few mild rollers. The run course is an out and back with several rolling hills.

Mach Tenn is limited to the first 420 participants registered
