2020 BUFFALO TRIATHLON:- CANCELLED
From The Race Website: " It is with a heavy heart the team at Active Central MN is forced to cancel the 2020 Buffalo Triathlon along with our Apple Duathlon. ACM is offering a NO RISK REGISTRATION policy, meaning all racers registered for the 2020 Buffalo Tri will be offered a free deferment to either the Graniteman Clearwater Triathlon or Big Lake Triathlon, or will be offered a full refund. This is made possible by incredible founding partners who stepped up in time of need. Thank you to Rollga, Granite Equity Partners, Williams Integracare Clinic, and Viking Coca-Cola. "
The Buffalo Triathlon is back in 2020! Sunday, June 7th will mark the 16th year of the Buffalo Triathlon. The race is held at Sturges Park and begins at 9:00 am with the swim. Bikers will exit Sturges Park and head south onto Hwy 25, then onto Montrose Blvd. The bikers exit Montrose Blvd onto County Road 108, travel on County Roads 9 and 109, head back to Buffalo on CR 35W, and complete the ride on Highway 25 to the finish at Sturges Park. The run, which is the final leg of the triathlon, takes place on Montrose Blvd and CR 12. Park Lane and 2nd Avenue South are the only two streets that will be closed. Montrose Blvd will be segmented into three lanes for the bikers/runners, southbound traffic, and northbound traffic. Delays can be expected along streets and roads on the course. The race will be finished around 12:30 pm. The Buffalo Triathlon is for newbies and veterans. Additional information about the Buffalo Triathlon, including the bike and run courses, can be found at: tribuff.com. We hope to see many spectators cheering on the participants.
