The race is set up in a time trial format, starting in the Russell Sims 50 meter lap pool.  Swimmers will start individually at 5-10 second intervals in a snake swim course format.

The bike course will travel through the rolling hills of Bowling Green and Warren County, with one challenging hill climb and one steep downhill stretch.  On third of the course will be on a closed lane on Veterans Boulvard.  Two thirds of the course will be a open course (car traffic) on the Glen Lilly and Barren River Road loop.

The run course covers the running trails in the Preston Miller Park and surrounding neighborhoods.  Seventy-five percent of the course is on dedicated running trails with the the remainder being on low traffic streets.

From Nashville: Take I-65 north to the Natcher Parkway (exit 20). Take the second exit (exit 5) left onto Russellville Road (68/80). Turn right onto Russellville Road (68E/80E). Turn left onto KY 880 (Veterans Memorials). Park entrance is on the left off Tomblinson Way.

From Louisville: Take I-65 south to the Natcher Parkway (exit 20). Take the second exit (exit 5) left onto Russellville Road (68/80). Turn right onto Russellville Road (68E/80E). Turn left onto KY 880 (Veterans Memorials). Park entrance is on the left off Tomblinson Way.
