Many triathletes have ventured onto the sandy shores of Imperial Beach. The area has hosted the longest-running half-distance triathlon in the world dating back to the 1970s. IRONMAN 70.3 SUPERFROG is based on Navy SEAL training so multiple loops and sand will be part of your experience. Athletes who want to experience a triathlon filled with sun, sand and history will want to explore IRONMAN 70.3 SUPERFROG.
The 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 Superfrog will offer qualifying slots to the 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in St. George, Utah.
