2020 XTERRA Indian Peaks
The premier XTERRA off-road triathlon along the Front Range of Colorado. Racing on the nordic trails of the Eldora Mountain Resort only 35 minutes west of Boulder. Racers will be on double tracks, single tracks and not really there tracks. At the finish will be free beer, food trucks, finish towels, live music, and great awards. All at 9,000'
Course Information:
Swim at Peterson Lake in a time trial start going every 3 seconds. Wetsuit is required.
Run 600m from the swim finish to the transition area.
Bike on the trails of the Eldora Nordic Center. Great single track, loose rocky climbs, tight and wet descents, and general fun. Classic course does two loops; while the sprint and paddleboard racers will complete one lap.
Run on the beautiful trails of the Eldora Nordic Center on trails that at times really don't exist. Runners will finish at the Indian Peaks Lodge for the big party.
Directions:
Take US 36 to Boulder and then turn left on Canyon Blvd.. That turns into CO 119 and after going 18 miles through Boulder Canyon you will arrive in Nederland. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit. As you leave town you will see the sign directing you to Eldora. After two miles you will veer left onto the Shelf Road that will take you up to the ski area.
