"Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Rodney's Great Kids Triathlon has been cancelled for 2020. We look forward to being back stronger than ever in 2021!"
Rodney's Great Kids Triathlon is a competition for kids in various age groups with boys and girls divisions for ages 4-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-17. Kids start out swimming, jump out of the pool, put on shoes and bike helmets, jump on bicycles, ride the required distance, then jump off and run to the finish line. The distance of each leg of competition varies by each age groups. The older the kids, the farther they have to go in each leg of the race:
2- Elementary School (Ages 5 to 11)
Course Information:
The Swimming distance ranges from 100 yards to 400 yards.
The bike Rides vary from .7 miles to 3.5 miles.
The Run covers distances from .7 miles to 2.1 miles.
