End your summer on a high note at the Rotary Multisport Riverfest -- right on the edge of downtown Salem and in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine region!
At the heart of the lineup of events, the Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquabike include a challenging but rewarding river swim, bike ride and run in a gorgeous natural setting.
The 5k and 10k run/walk courses cross the footbridge into Minto-Brown Island Park's wildlife sanctuary before looping back to Riverfront Park.
The finish line at Riverfront park is your gateway to post-event festivities that include a free Family Fun Run, local food, beer and wine, music, and raffle.
All finishers receive a medal and tech shirt; those who place in their age group also receive an additional gold, silver, or bronze medal.
Course Information:
The swim is a challenging but rewarding course in the Willamette River. The bike course crosses the river on a converted railroad bridge, passes by downtown Salem, and then heads out into scenic farm and forest land before returning to downtown Salem's Riverfront Park for the second transition. The run course crosses another footbridge into Minto Island Park, along paved trails through a wildlife refuge. The finish line is back at Riverfront Park.
