Rock Recovery strives to reduce stigma and spread awareness around eating disorders and  provide affordable and transformational resources to those struggling and their support networks. Since 2009 the organization has served over 130 clients through its holistic and affordable outpatient recovery programs and educated and provided supportive resources to over 15,000 community members to seek help for themselves or their loved ones. Don't miss out on the first Rock Recovery Fun Run 5k of 2020!

Grab a friend and enjoy a fun, family-friendly jog/walk/run through the National Mall to raise critical funds so that more individuals and families can access affordable, life-saving eating disorder treatment and recovery resources. Following the run, stick around for post-run snacks at Potomac River Running store and learn more important work that Rock Recovery is doing in the DMV community.

All fitness levels are welcome to enjoy this untimed event! Proceeds from the event will support Rock Recovery’s mission to provide critical treatment and support to people who struggle with eating disorders, exercise and body image issues.

9:45 – 10:00 AM: Registration and check-in

10:00 – 10:15  AM: Welcome from Rock Recovery and group photo

10:15 AM – 11:15: Fun Run on the National Mall!

11:15 – 12:00 PM: Post-run snacks at Potomac River Running

Potomac River Running is one block from the Chinatown Metro, and street parking is available (but somewhat scarce!) nearby.
