_ The 2020 Carilion Children's IRONKIDS Virginia Fun Run:
The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of “competition”, without the pressure of a competitive race. At IRONKIDS it’s all about the community, fun and future! Ages 6 months- 17 years are encouraged to participate.
The fun run will begin at 6pm on June 5, 2020 at River's Edge Park.
We will have a Diaper Dot Dash and Toddler Dot Trot to allow even our youngest athletes a chance to share in the fun! Distances are 26.2ft for the Diaper Dash, and 80ft for the Toddler Trot. Our Toddler Dot Trot will be our first event this year starting at 6pm. We also have a 1/2 mile and one mile fun run.
Run distances are based on the children’s age and interest.
Participants will receive a t-shirt, race bib, medal, goodie bag and the pride of calling themselves an IRONKID!
Credit cards are the only form of payment accepted, please.

Please have your child wear comfortable clothing to include running shoes.
