_ The 2020 Christine Grant 5K for Women Build:
Help us raise funds for the Women Build by participating in the Christine Grant 5K Run/Walk for Women Build! The race takes place at beautiful Terry Trueblood Recreation Area.
Location:
The Christine Grant 5K Run/Walk will begin and end at the Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, Shelter 2 (4213 SE Sand Road, Iowa City, IA).
This event will take place rain or shine. Registration fees are not refundable.
Awards
We will be awarding the overall top male and top female racers. Awards will also be presented to the top male and top female racers of each age category: 5-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Whether you are walking or running, there will be several door prizes available to all race registrants. Details on prizes to come at a later date.

7:00 AM - Registration opens
8:30 AM - 5K Run begins (non-chip timed)
8:40 AM - 5K Walk begins
10:00 AM - Award Ceremony and Prizes
Pre-race Packet Pick-up: Friday, May 8 from 9 am-6 pm at the Habitat for Humanity office. If you pre-registered, you can pick up your race packet at the Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity office, 2401 Scott Blvd SE in Iowa City. If you have not registered, feel free to stop by during that same time-frame and we will get you signed up for the race!
