Triathlon has beenn Postponed until the fall of 2020. We are working with the Lee County School Board, Lee County Sheriff's Dept and the Cypress Lake JROTC, our gracious Hosts to get at new date ASAP.

SWIM-BIKE-RUN for the USMC CLP Jardas Scholarship! Join our Military Veterans, First Responders and community Tri-Athletes at Cypress Lake High School for this Inaugural event. The Cypress Lake Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) wil host you and your friends at this competition to raise funds for Cpl Jardas' Scholarship.

Tommy Jardas was a 2011 graduate of Cypress Lake, a JROTC Cadet and Varsity Swimmer. He enlisted in the Marine Corps his senior year at Cypress and became a CH-53E Super Stalion Crew Cheif. On the night of January 14, 2016, Pegasus 31 & 32 flew a complex night training mission. The two helicopters collided. There were no survivors. Tommy and his 11 USMC Brothers gave their lives that night for our country. This Scholarship, and this Triathlon in his name, ensures that CPL Thomas Jardas will NEVER BE FOROTTEN. Bring ID to pick up packet with Race Bib & T-Shirt

Event Schedule:

Arrive 6:00 am Cypress Lake High 6750 Panther Lane 

Check in at Stadium - JROTC will direct

Parking directed to main campus lot - JROT will direct

1st event - 6:30 am 300 Yards Swim - Snake Swin in Cypress Lake High School outdoor pool

2nd event - 10 Mile Bike - Florida Road Racing Company

3rd event - 5K Run - Maps attached

Water will be provided

Mission BBQ light bites after the race

Participation Medals to the first 200 finishers
