_ The 2020 Caveman Adventure Run:
CAVEMAN Adventure Run 5K with Obstacles & Mud
Sunday, August 9th
8 a.m.
Maribel County Park (close to Manitowoc, Wi)
Maribel, WI 54227
The Caveman Run 5k is full of challenging and fun obstacles located at one of the most historical
parks in Wisconsin, Maribel County Park. The park offers caves, a playground, a picnic area, and hiking and biking trails. A picnic shelter with bathrooms is located in the picnic area. The beauty of the area makes it a popular tourist destination - it also has real caves you can tour after the event!
This is a family friendly event which features 1/2 mile obstacle course for kids. Parents can run with their child to support them. You will love the obstacles and photo op with Willy the Woolly Mammoth. Rinse off after the run and enjoy a feast of paleolithic and regular plain ol' food.
Cave tours will be available after the run. Tours are given by the Wisconsin Spaleological Society, donations appreciated.

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES NOON 8/7 - YOU CAN STILL SIGN UP AT THE EVENT
Registration opens at 6:30 am. Same day prices are $40 for the 5K and $10 for the Kid's Run.

• 8:15 am Flintstones Teams Wave 1
• 8:30 am Flintstones Teams Wave 2
• 8:45 am Tribe Teams Wave 1
• 9:00 am Tribe Teams Wave 2
• 9:15 am Tribe Teams Wave 3
• 9:30 am Same Day Registrants
• 10:00 am Kid’s ½ Mile Run
REGISTRATION
Team captains must register first and must have a team name. They can then register everyone or each team member can register themselves after the captain registers. Be sure to arrive 30- 45 minutes before your start time.
AGES
If you would want to do the 5K course with a child in any of the categories, you may do so as long as you accompany them. 15 and older do not need to be accompanied.
Adults can accompany their child of the 1/2 Mile Kid's Obstacle Course if they like.
PERKS
Everyone will receive a shirt, goody bag and food after the event. Awards will be given to the top overall female and male in the individual wave and first place team in each wave.
PARKING
Parking is free and easy. Volunteers will direct you to park near the park entrance or in the field across from the park.
DETAILS
Wear shoes and clothes you may not want to keep. Water to rinse off after the run with be provided along with Bag and Tag, a secure service to check in any belongings like clothes, wallets or phones. Wear running, hiking or some kind of solid shoes.
BENEFICIARY
Proceeds from the event help Lakeshore Community Health Center provide dental, medical and behavioral health care, regardless of a patients ability to pay for services. Uninsured patients are offered sliding scale fees and payment plans, based on household income.
