_ The 2020 XTERRA Oak Mountain - Triathlon and Trail Running:
The 15th annual XTERRA Oak Mountain off-road triathlons and trail runs return to Oak Mountain State Park in Shelby County, Alabama on our NEW weekend of August 29-30.
The main event combines a 1.5km swim, 34km mountain bike and 9.5km trail run. For amateurs, there will be 51 spots into the XTERRA World Championship to be held November 08 in Maui up-for-grabs, and for elites, $15,000 USD in prize money and points in the XTERRA America Tour.
XTERRA will also offer a shorter distance Sprint race – 750-meter for the swim, 17.1km mountain bike and a 4.5km trail run, and an even shorter distance Xticer race which mixes a fun 200-meter swim with a 9.5km mountain bike and 2km trail run.
You can also create a two or three-person relay team to conquer the Sprint or Full distance races.
And, runners will revel in our 5, 10.3, and 20.6-kilometer trail runs.
Plus, Paul Mitchell stylists will be on-site giving professional hair cuts in exchange for a $15 (or more) donation to the Challenged Athletes Foundation with 100% of the proceeds benefit CAF.
