New to adventure racing? If you've never done an adventure race, this is the weekend for you. There will be 3 skills sessions (one per day) followed by some practice in a race type format. And there will be a lot of experienced racers around to meet, chat with, and maybe even form a team with.
Adventure racing veteran? If you're an experienced racer, you need to come as well. First, because we all need to help grow our sport to keep it healthy. Second, because there will be 3 competitive races for you to do: a 4 hour, an 8 hour, and a 10 hour, as well as some optional anytime orienteering courses (foot and bike) all set up and waiting for you to test your expertise. Races will include paddling duckies, SUPs, and whitewater rafting. There may also be an ascending/rappelling site in the 10 hour event.
Lodgings: Ace (aceraft.com) has a variety of lodging options from tent sites to cabin tents to bunk houses to deluxe cabins, but they all fill up quickly for the summer, so book your space sooner than later!
Race fee increases about $50 every two months. $275 until January 15th, $300 until March 1st, $350 until May 1st, $400 until July 1st. Register now and save some $$$$!
