_ The 2020 Covered Bridge Run:

Calling all pioneers, soldiers, and settlers! Join us for the Glen Carbon Covered Bridge Run held on June 20th, 2020 at 8:00am. We plan to take you back in time to the rich history of this mining town. Volunteers will be dressed as early settlers, with photo opportunities in black and white photography. There will be signs lining the route telling the history of Glen Carbon, with hopes that you will take a stroll after the run.

Runners will run down the newly paved, wooded, Ronald J Foster Heritage Trail for a flat and fast, out-and-back route. There is a 5K, 5 Mile and a kids 1 Mile option.
*Finishers medals for the kids who run the 1 Mile fun run!
*The Glen Carbon Homecoming festivities will kick off early! Plan to stay after the run, to ride rides, eat, play games and browse the vendor tents!
*Goshen Triple Crown Series! 3 local races, all the swag and an additional Goshen Triple Crown Series finishers medal. The Series includes: Run for Bonifest 5K, Route 66 10K and the Covered Bridge Run 5 Mile.

Food & festivities to follow with FREE Bobby's Frozen Custard to all registered finishers and FREE beer compliments of Donnewald Distributing Company!

Early Packet Pickup:
June 18th & 19th - Packet pickup at RunWell during normal business hours. 142 N. Main Street, Edwardsville, Il 62025
June 15th Event Schedule:
6:30-7:30am - Race day registration and packet pickup at race start.
8:00am - 5 Mile run starts
8:15am - 5K run starts
9:30am - 1 Mile run starts
9:45am - Awards ceremony in front of the Covered Bridge.

12-U, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

New this year:  Can't attend the run in person?  Run virtually and earn the SWAG!!  Run a 5K between now and June 20th 2020 and we will mail your runners swag to celebrate your accomplishment!
