_ The 2nd Annual Resolution Run 5K and 1K Fun Run:
Lisa Cupid, Cobb County Commissioner | District 4:
Commissioner Cupid serves as Commissioner of District 4 of Cobb County representing Austell, Mableton, Powder Springs, south Marietta, and portions of Smyrna. She is committed to strengthening and redeveloping District 4 and in bringing various stakeholders together to best serve the interests of those that live and work in the area. Commissioner Cupid is best known for advocating for fair treatment and consideration of all people and interests across the county and has received countless awards for her avid service.
Commissioner Cupid was inspired to begin the new year with a Resolution Run as an opportunity to vision anew not just our personal lives, but our community as well. It serves as an outlet for fun, reflection, and a vehicle to support local initiatives. Proceeds from this year’s race will support the Cobb County Scouting Initiative led by the Atlanta Area Council.

For more than 100 years, Scouting has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun and adventure in the outdoors. The Atlanta Area Council cares passionately about what is happening to kids and our communities – and are dedicated to supporting an exciting, quality program that builds better young people and our future leaders.
Scouting activities happen all year-long in your local neighborhood or at one of our beautiful scout camps.
Event details and schedule
The race will be held at Riverside EpiCenter, and all pre- and post-race activities will be held inside their amazing facility.
The 5K course will be an out and back route on Riverside Parkway, starting and finishing at EpiCenter. The 1K will stay completely on property.
1K Fun Run starts at 830am
5K Run starts at 9am
There is plenty of free parking at the EpiCenter.

For: Everyone—singles, families, entrepreneurs
Location: Riverside EpiCenter
Date & Time: January 4th, TBD (Post-race)
Cost: $10 – facilitator, materials, refreshments
What to bring: Old magazines and scissors
