_ The 2020 Wisdom Warrior Challenge- A Race For The Ages:

AARP and La Posada partner to host the Inaugral Wisdom Warrior Challenge- A Race For The Ages in sunny Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on March 14, 2020.  Athletes both seasoned and recreational will race on track admist the palm trees and soft breezes. The race is for ages 55 to 100+ and offers running, walking, and shot put. The race is fashioned to promote a new social consciousness regarding aging that age is just a number not a limitation. Event details and schedule

Order of events starting at 9 am:

1. 100m
2. 800m
3. 400m and 800m walk
4. 1600m
5. relay 4x 100m
6. 400m
7. 200m
8. Shot Put

The event will take place at the Watston B. Duncan Middle School track. Parking will be available in the school parking lot. Bleachers will be available for sitting, in addition bringing folding chairs is recommended. Bring water and snacks as needed. 

Packet pick up with details regarding the start time(s) for your heat(s) and a map with the  start location on the trarck will be available on 3/12/2020 AND 3/13/2020 from 8 am to 6:30 pm. ID is required  for packet pick up  Picking up a packet for someone else is permitted with a note granting permission and a copy of the ID. Packet pickup address is:

Packet pick up is available on the day of the race beginning at 7 am. However, it is recommended that packets are picked up on 3/12 or 3/13.
