_ The 2020 Earth Day 5k run/Walk 15k Run:

The 1st annual Earth Day 15k run & 5k run/walk takes place on the scenic paved Heritage Trail Greenway in Winona Lake, IN. Green Earth Multisport’s vision is to connect people to nature through the love of running at any level.

The 2 loop 15k run course starts at Green Earth Multisport in the Village at Winona, continues with stunning views of Winona Lake, meanders through the paved Winona Lake Trails, providing a glimpse of Grace College, and finishes back at Green Earth Multisport.

The out and back 5k run/walk course starts at Green Earth Multisport in the Village at Winona, continues with stunning views of Winona Lake, meanders through the paved Winona Lake Trails.

The first Earth Day was on April 22, 1970, 20 million Americans took to the streets, parks, and auditoriums to demonstrate for a healthy, sustainable environment in massive cost-to-cost rallies (“The History of Earth Day” 2019). Today we continue the fight for healthy sustainable environment. Join us in taking care of Winona Lake, IN but all the land, water, and air we use.
