_ The 2020 Sakatah Challenge:
The American Warrior Initiative Sakatah Challenge is an annual 5.6K & 10.5K run and 11.6 mile bike ride through the Sakatah Lake State Park. Arguably one of MN most beautiful runs benefiting those who serve us every day!
Event details and schedule
Packet Pick Up:
Packet pick up is Friday night from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Fairway Independent Mortgage: 801 Freemont St E. Waterville, MN 56096. This is the big red building where the race starts. If you are unable to make it Friday night we will be starting packet pick up on Saturday morning at 7:00AM.
Start Times:
8:00 AM 11 Mile Bike Ride
8:15 AM 10.5K Run
8:50 AM 5.6K Run
Parking: Race Day Parking will be on the west side of Highway 13 in the school lot off of Common Street! We will have crossing guards on the highway to help get you across safely!
Bikers: Please remember your helmets. If you don't have your helmet we will not be able to let you race!
Water Stations: We try to have as many water stations as possible for our 10.5K runners, but sometimes it's not enough. Please remember your water bottles ESPECIALLY if it is warm out.
