_ The 2019 Mind Over Matter 5k:
The 3rd annual Mind Over Matter 5k takes place at the beautiful Wolfpen Creek Park in College Station, Texas. With nicely paved paths, trees and a lingering hill, participants are sure to enjoy this 5k at their own pace. There will be refreshments and snacks for all participants. This is MHMR Authority of Brazos Valley's major annual fundraising event. MHMR Authority of Brazos Valley hopes to grow this event and solidify it's place in the community for years to come.
Event details and schedule
Event starts at 10:00am. Walkers will have 2 hours to complete the 5k route. Maps will be provided for the course. Markers will be posted and volunteers will be along the path providing direction and encouragement. Please arrive no later than 9:45am to get checked in and ready for the event. Parking located at the Post Oak Mall or limited parking spaces at Wolf Pen Creek. Please bring waivers day of the event. Water and snacks will be provided, please bring extra if desired. Dress appropriately for public, community event and weather. Pets are welcome. ALL pets must be on a leash and picked up after. Pets must be friendly and up to date on vaccinations. Pets are the responsibilities of their owners. Children are welcome. Children under the age of 5 are free to attend. Strollers welcome for event.
