_ The 5th Annual H2H LE Hillraiser Event:
100% of the 5th annual H2H LE Hillraiser Endurance Challenge will go to the Augusta Levy Child Learning Center for Autism.
The 5th annual Hillraiser will begin Saturday, April 4th at 5:00 PM and continue until 5:00 AM on Sunday, April 5th. This year's race will consist of 2-4 person relay teams plus one pit crew member to watch out for the safety of the team. Distance will be around 3 miles per lap. Only one member of the team at a time will be permitted on the race course. Each team member will complete a lap one at a time, one right after the other. Once all team members have completed a lap the rotation will begin again. Each team needs one Ruck weighing 30 lbs. This will be weighed at check-in. Each team will be given one race bib/chip which will be handed over to the next team member before they head out onto the race course.
Awards will be given to the following:
All male team with the most laps
All female team with the most laps
Mixed male/female team with the most laps
Fastes lap male/female
Fleming Endurance Award - most determined team member
Commemorative patches will be awarded to all participants.
Event details and schedule
Check in will be from 12:00-4:00 on April 4th. The team ruck will be weighed at this time. Camp sites will be on a first come first serve basis. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. The following items are recommended: hat, gloves, long sleeved wind proof running jacket, face, neck & ear protection (buff), trail shoes, a change of clothes, food and hydration, and a headlamp with extra batteries. It is the team captain's responsibility to ensure that the team be prepared for unexpected weather, darkness, food, and hydration.
