_ The 2020 American National Bank's Four on the 4th presented by Fleet Feet:

Grab your best red, white and blue outfit, lace up your sneakers, and hit the road before the fireworks fly this 4th of July. Bring the whole family and join in on the fun at American National Bank's Four on the 4th presented by Fleet Feet. Enjoy a 4-mile route winding through Downtown Roanoke and surrounding neighborhood, all while benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia. There is fun for the whole family this 4th of July morning; run or walk the 4 miler, sign the kiddos up for the FREE Kids Fun Run, volunteer, or hang out at the Start/Finish and cheer on the runners and walkers!

In 2019, we had our first ever SOLD OUT race. Thank you everyone for participating, and helping us raise over $30,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of SWVA! Here's a look at 2019 by the numbers:

• 510 runners and walkers registered for the 4-mile race
• 97 kids participated in the Kids Fun Run
• Over 100 volunteers helped make the race possible
• We served 14 watermelons, 70 bunches of bananas, 40 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts and 450 hot dogs
• Miss Virginia East Coast USA, Emma Kessler, sang the national anthem
• Mayor Sherman Lea led the Pledge of Allegiance
• Fastest male runner: Tyler O'brien with an overall time of 20:45.5 (5:11 pace)
• Fastest female runner: Emma Rogers with an overall time of 25:33.5 (6:21 pace)
• 84 awards, hand painted by the club kids, were given out to top overall winners and age group winners
• 13 states and Great Britain were respresented
• We raised over $30,000 to help support the Boys & Girls Clubs of SWVA summer and after school programs!
