_ The 2nd Annual 5k Color Run/Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness:
The 2nd Annual 5k Color Run/Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness is an event sponsored by the Russell County Sheriff's Office supporting victims of domestic violence. All proceeds from the 5k will go into a Victims Fund to provide emergency transportation, emergency shelter, food, and clothing for victims of domestic violence in emergency situations. Many times immediate for refuge for victims of domestic crimes is necessary, the funds raised from this race will help to provide the necessary means of safety for these victims.Registration begins at 9:00am with the race beginning promptly at 10:00am!
