_ The 43rd Annual Groundhog Gallop:
Step by Step is proud to host the 43rd Annual Groundhog Gallop. This 5K run/walk will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Cost
$20 on or before January 27, by mail/online
$25 January 28-Feb 1 (please return in person to ensure receipt)
Race is professionally timed using disposable bib chips
Long-sleeve t-shirt guaranteed for all registered participants
Online registration will close at noon on Thursday, January 30th to allow the timing company to prepare bib numbers. Registration forms will be available at Friday's packet pick-up and Saturday before the race! All registration Jan 28-Feb 1 is $25/participant.
Packet Pick Up/Late Registration
January 31st, One Jackson Square building, 9th Floor, 12-4pm
February 1st, Cafeteria, Middle School at Parkside, 10:30am
Awards
Prizes will be awarded to walkers and runners in the following categories:
- 1st place male/female
- 1st place master's male/female
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd in age group (5 year age groups)
Should I register for the run or walk? If you plan to run/jog at all, please register for the run.
Note: 43rd Annual Groundhog Gallop will NOT be cancelled due to inclement weather. All reasonable attempts will be made to clear the course of snow, but there is a segment of the course that is hard to clear of built up ice. This is a winter race, please be mindful of course conditions and adjust your pace accordingly. Don't worry, it's always fun!
