Herbalife Nutrition is excited to announce the second annual Herbalife24 Triathlon Los Angeles. Starting in Venice Beach and ending in Downtown Los Angeles at L.A. Live, join us for a one-of-a-kind journey through the heart of L.A.
There are a multitude of different race categories to fit everyone’s comfort level and desired goals. This year we’re also excited to announce the addition of a bike-only category (Bike Tour). Below are the various categories available this year:
After rave reviews of last year’s course design, the race once again begins at iconic Venice Beach in the Pacific Ocean. After participants exit the water and pass through T-1, the race continues on bike down Venice Blvd and through the heart of Los Angeles. Proceeding from T-2 in Downtown, the race culminates on foot alongside iconic LA landmarks and finishes at the famed L.A. Live outdoor venue.
The point-to-point course will take racers through a variety of LA neighborhoods and points of interest, each showcasing the diversity and stories that have shaped the second most populous city in the United States.
The Herbalife24 Triathlon Los Angeles will welcome participants from around the world to the city of dreams in the spring of 2020. But we also encourage new participants to join! Whether an Elite or first timer, our team is available for any questions that may arise along the way and are eager to assist all participants with planning an unforgettable experience.

The race begins at iconic Venice Beach in the Pacific Ocean. After participants exit the water and pass through T-1, the race continues on bike down Venice Blvd and through the heart of Los Angeles. Swim Distance: 1500 meters (.9 mile)
The 1500 meter swim will be a course in the Pacific Ocean. The swim will end on the beach, with a short run to the transition area in Venice Beach. Expect waves.
Bike Distance: 40 kilometers (25 miles)
The 40km bike leaves Venice Beach and follows Venice Blvd to La Brea, for a quick uphill climb to Olympic Boulevard. Olympic Blvd. features rolling hills and a nice descent into Downtown LA.
Run Distance: 10 kilometers (6.2 miles)
The 10k run travels through Downtown LA before heading West along Wilshire Blvd. towards Koreatown. This two loop course is very spectator friendly.
Swim Distance: 750 meters
The 750 meter swim will be a course in the Pacific Ocean. The swim will end on the beach, with a short run to the transition area in Venice Beach. Expect waves.
