Description

Join us as we close out our Triathlon series with our 1st annual KidFit Triathlon & Adults too at Bentwater!  We will have several divisions for you to choose from.  We will have the kids division, an Adult division along with a Parent/child Team division!  We will also have an Aqua-Run for the adults/kids who want to just swim and run!

Adult awards to the 3 fastest men and 3  fastest women.  Kids Age Group awards - top 3 boys and top 3 girls per age group.

Great family event for everyone from the beginner to the seasoned athlete.  The entire event takes place at Bentwater in Acworth, GA.  The adult wave starts at 8:00 AM and kids start at 8:30 AM.  Every participant will receive a Tech shirts & Finisher Medal!

Adults

YES!!! We're going to be doing an adult division. Adults will start at 8:00 AM and will do the same course & distances as the 12-14 year olds. This would be considered a Super Duper Sprint. It will all be in good fun, with times & finisher medals, and awards just to the 3 fastest men & 3 fastest women. Yes, you'll get a shirt (adult fit), as long as you register by 101/6.

We're also doing an adult aqua-run division.  Adults will start at 8:00 AM, do the same course & distance as the 12-14 year olds for just the swim and run portion.

If your child is not up for racing alone, you may race along-side your child!  Register as TEAM Parent (Racing with Child) and do the same distance as your child, along side them. 

Swim Leg

The swim will be in a 25 yard pool. Athletes will start one at a time every 30 seconds.

Bike & Run Legs

The bike leg will be in a portion of the subdivision that has minimal homes and will be closed to any traffic. The run legs will be along the paved walking trails and the sidewalks.

Distances

     12 - 14...swim 137 yd, bike 6 mi, run 1.25 mi;
    10 & 11...swim 112, bike 5 mi, run 1 mi;
        8 & 9...swim 87 yd, bike 4 mi, run .75 mi;
        6 & 7...swim 62 yd, bike 3 mi, run .5 mi;
5 & under...swim 35, bike .75, run .2

Volunteers

You DON'T have to, but we would love for you to help us out during the event. We'll have you along the course, so you can help make sure everyone is safe, and you'll still be able to watch.

Five Star Triathlon Championships & Five Star Turkey Trot

All participants are automatically qualified for free entry into one of the 2019 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots.

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy

Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

All registrations are final...We're sorry but there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments.
