_ The 2019 Adventure Fest 5K & Triathlon:
The Adventure Fest 5K is sponsored by the Taylor County Adventure Club and will be held at the Tygart Lake State Park on Saturday, August 31st. The 5K course will be an out and back, with start and finish at the Tygart Lake Marina. This scenic course will wind through the beautiful Tygart Lake State park. The triathlon will feature a unique sprint distance, replacing the swim with a 2 mile kayak distance, followed by a 12 mile bike ride and 5K run through the park.
Registration is $25 prior to the race. Day of registration will be offered beginning at 8 am with a $30 registration fee. All proceeds will benefit the Taylor County Adventure Club and help bring more recreational opportunities to the area.
