_ The 2019 LavaKids Aquathlon Xterra Weekend:
The Excitement Starts Here!!!!!
The LavaKids Youth Aquathon takes place on August 24th, 2019 to kick off the Xterra weekend.
The races will begin with keiki 6 and under doing a dash along beautiful Hapuna Beach with the older keiki swimming in the ocean followed by runs on the beach.
Event Schedule:
7:00 - 8:15 am Registration
8:15 - 8:30 am Talk & Stretches
8:30 am Keiki Dash
To Follow: Youth Aquathon: Ages 7-14 ONlY
(7-10 YEARS: 100 METER SWIM, 1 KILOMETER RUN)
(11-14 YEARS: 200 METER SWIM, 2 KILOMETER RUN
10:00 am Awards
There will be LavaKids medals for all participants, as well as healthy snacks. A special appearance by Lavagal and Lavaman will be the highlight of the event!
$10 USAT Youth Annual Membership is required for ages 7-14 and will be collected online. Parent or guardian must be present to sign waivers. Prices will increase $5 on 8/17/19.
