_ The 2019 Amery Color Blast Run:
This is Amery’s fourth annual Color Blast 5K Fun Run/Walk. The Color Blast
event will be held on Saturday, July 27th. Participants will be “blasted” with colored chalk throughout
the run/walk and reach the finish line with a rainbow blast finale, making for a very fun and unique
event! The Race will start and end at the Congregational Church. Registration begins at 8am and race starts at 8:30am. This is an all ages, un-timed fun event!
This was previously hosted by the Amery Congregational Church, but the Amery Young Professionals
Organization (AYP) will now be organizing this event. AYP is a local group created to help attract and
retain young professionals to the Amery community by providing social experiences and opportunities
to make connections on both a personal and professional level. Some of this year’s proceeds will also
benefit Salvation Army Serenity Home. For information about this non-profit organization, please visit
