Earn points in 3 Grand Prix series as you run 12 races and support 4-H. Overall Awards to be presented at the 12th race. One (Extra Nice soft cotton) T-shirt provided to each preregistered runner for all 12 races. Race day registrationregular shirts as available.

The 1st-6th day Races will be 5 “Home Run” type races and I “in person” race. Pick your course, run the race & submit time for placing. Clover Glove, Black Bag and Run & See points will be awarded for each of the 6 races. Send times to: ([email protected] )

July 9 (5th Day) 5k (3.1 miles) On Your Own

July 10 (6th Day) 6K (3.75 miles) On You Own

Days 7-9 will include 2 “in person” races and 1 “Home Run”

Days 7 and 8 will be held at Fortson 4-H Center. Overnight lodging is available. Lodging fee is $15. Bring linens

July 12 (7th Day) 7K (4.34 miles) 7:04 P.M. Fortson 4-H Center, Hampton

July 13 (8th Day) 8K (5 miles) 7:44 A.M. Fortson 4-H Center, Hampton

July 16 (9th Day) 9K (5.58 miles) On Your Own

Days 10-12 will include 1 “in person” races and 2 “Home Run” races

July 18 (10th Day) 10.1K (6.26 mile) On Your Own

July 21 (11th Day) 11K (6.82 mile) On Your Own

July 27 (12 th Day) ***12K (7.44 mile) 7:34 A.M. Rock Eagle 4-H Center, Eatonton GA

The awards ceremony and final race will be at Rock Eagle 4-H Center on July 27.

Note:

*July 4- Day 3 – may use first two miles of the Peachtree Road Race or other race.

** July 6-Day 4 race will also be promoted as OC 4-H 4K

***July 27- Day 12 Race will be promoted as 4-H 12K (Hard Hills, Heat and Humidity) also.

Fees: All 8 Home Runs $114. All 4 in person only races $64 preregistration. In person races are $25 each on race day. All 12 races for one price of $144 on or before July 1. The total package will be $164 after July 1. Lodging at Fortson is $15 per person.

One shirt per runner no matter how many races. Win age group in all twelve races and receive 150 Clover Glove, 120 Black Bag, 300 R&S GA. Overall, Master, Grand Master, Supreme Senior, and Youth awards for the individuals that have the lowest cumulative time for the 12 races (must run all 12 races at the scheduled time).

The Oconee Extension Office is located just off Hwy 15 near the US 441 junction on Government Station Rd.
