_ The 2019 Positive Energy 5K and Kids Triathlon:
A 5K run / walk for all ages will take place at 7:45 a.m. With an early start, get a 3.1 mile run or walk in before the day heats up. Join us for the Positive Energy 5K - entry includes a t-shirt, finisher medal, eligibility for age group awards and - because we're all a kid sometimes - a post-race sno cone.
Discounts are available for the 5K race for those ages 17 and younger (save $5.00). In addition, there is a family discount - sign up two or more people in a single transaction and you will save $5 on the second and each subsequent entry.
The Positive Energy Kids Triathlon (8:30 a.m.) is a kids triathlon for ages 3 to 15 years that incorporates exercise into a fun event. Participation, a positive experience and a sense of accomplishment are what our young athletes walk away with after the event. At this event, our goal is for every finisher – whether first or last or somewhere in-between – to feel a sense of triumph when they cross the finish line. Both finish times and placement take a backseat to the goals at hand – which are to introduce children to the exciting sport of triathlon as well as to simply portray exercise in a fun manner.
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT NOON ON FRIDAY JUNE 21.
After this time registrations will be accepted at Packet Pick Up (2:30-5:30PM at Arroyo Park on 6/22) and 7:00 AM onwards on race day.
