_ The 2019 Mt Lemmon Gravel Grinder p/b REI:
The Mt Lemmon Gravel Grinder is held annually on the last Saturday in October and leverages the 3C Ranch to provide a complete family-friendly experience. Attendees enjoy the beautiful grounds for event activities and live music, onsite camping and accommodations, campground games, a robust communal campfire and more!
Starting at 4,500 ft. and elevations ranging from 3,000ft in the neighboring town of San Manuel to 8,000ft in Summerhaven, Mount Lemmon, a limited field of 500 riders will discover the challenges and gratification from riding awesome back-country gravel/dirt roads (and some pavement) among old mining and cattle ranching operations at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains within the Coronado National Forest, ALL while taking in the endless beauty of the fall season in the San Pedro River Valley.
All finishers receive a custom woodallion engraved with their distance, and are welcomed to the post ride after party with live music, tasty food options and refreshing frosty beverages.
