The Mighty Moraine Open Water Swim will be held at Porter's Cove at Moraine State Park.
The race will have a 5K, 2 Mile, 1 Mile and 1/2 Mile.
We will award winners in each race.
Top 3 male and female overall, 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
Fruit for the over all winners in each distance. You could go home with a watermelon, pineapple, apples, oranges or more.
Course Information:
The courses will leave from Porter's Cove and head towards the 422 bridge. Courses will be out and back or loops.
Directions:
Take I-79. Off the exit make a right. Make a quick left onto Badger Hill Road. Follow the road all the way to the end of the gravel road where you see the lake.
Other Info:
This will be a fun event. If you don't want to race, no problem. We will have a clinic for those wishing to improve their open water swim with a short beginner course for those people. The clinic will be $30 for a 90 minute session of teaching and swimming.
