_ The 2019 Amazing Race - Newtown Library Edition:
A trek through Newtown Borough where the teams are given clues to go from place to place to perform tasks. (Similar to a scavenger hunt or a road rally).
Team up with your family and friends for a fun morning of the competition. The first prize is $200 plus a "bragging" trophy.
The Amazing Race - Newtown Library Company Edition is an event the library organizes for the community.
Event details and schedule
Tee shirt pick-up at the library will be on Friday, April 26.
We recommend parking in the municipal parking lot, as on-street parking in the Borough is limited. There is no parking at the 'start'.
The signup begins at 9:30 am at a site to be announced (within the Newtown Borough)
The tee shirts and the race rules will be distributed at sign in.
The first Clue is Distributed at 10:00 am.
A cell phone with a camera is required.
The race ends at a local venue; results are announced at NOON.
NO RAIN DATE: bring a poncho, or other rain gear, if necessary.
