_ The 2019 McClinchy Free Family Bike Ride:
Bring the kids, grandkids, and friends for a fun, free ride on Centennial Trail as part of the McClinchy Mile Bike Ride on April 28 (33,40, 50 68 or 100 miles). For the family event, riders of all ages will head north on the paved, traffic-free Centennial Trail as far as your legs can take you - it's an out and back ride so you decide the distance from 1 to 8 miles (or 15 miles roundtrip to the end).
Advanced registration is not required, but will help us estimate the number of participants so we can plan for food, etc. We hope to see you and the kids on April 27 in Arlington!
Event details and schedule
Sign-in at Haller Park shelter before 1 p.m. so we can all start the ride together.
Noon to 2 p.m. Free bike safety checks. Get help and guidance on fixing flats and minor repairs from Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop, the event sponsor.
1 to 4 p.m. Experienced BIKES Club volunteers will lead the trail ride and offer support and encouragement.
The official event will end at 4 p.m., but of course the trail and park are open until dusk. Haller Park has a playground, a short hiking trail, and Stillaguamish River access.
