_ The 4th Annual SAA Cross Country 5K and 1 Mile Race and Kids Fun Run:

This will be the 4th Annual Spencerville Adventist Academy(SAA) 5K Cross-Country Style Race and Fun Run that will take place Rain or Shine on our beautiful Campus. Spencerville Adventist Academy, established in 1943, opened our current State of the Art School facility in 2011.

All Race participants ANY DISTANCE will receive a complimentary Race T-shirt, along with a beautiful finisher's medal to commemorate this event, and a free brunch. There will be an awards ceremony for the winners in each category immediately after the race is over.

Students will be able to compete against their classmates.  Awards for Top Female and Male in each class will be awarded as well as fastest Male and Female in Elementary, Middle and High School.

This year we will also be presenting an award for best costumes.  So if you aren't fast, you can still win by coming out and partcipating in a "Fun" outfit.

You can also Create or Join a team with your family!

IMPORTANT!!! The class with the highest registration numbers (Per Capita) will receive money for their class to help with class fundrasing.  So make sure ALL your classmates get registered. IF EVERYONE IN THE CLASS registers we will DOUBLE the donation to the class!

Event details and schedule

Time: The 5K Race/Walk will begin at 9:10 am on April 07, 2019. Rain or Shine. Course: 5K Cross Country Course that will take you 3 Laps around the SAA property. 

Time: The 1M Race/Walk will begin at 9:10 am on April 07, 2019. Rain or Shine. Course: 1 Mile Cross Country Course that will take you 1 Lap around the SAA property. 

Time: The 1K Hornet Fun Run will begin at 9:00 am on April 07, 2019. Rain or Shine. Course: 1K Cross Country Course that will take you around the SAA building.  Children 9 and under only.

Awards- Trophies will be given to the fastest overall Male and Female finishers. There will be awards for Fastest Female and Male in each classroom grade. (If the fastest runner from a classroom grade is not a Spencerville Student, the fastest Spencerville student will also be acknowledged, but will not win the award.)  There will also be awards for fastest Male and Female in Elementary, Middle, and High School. (If the fastest runner from Elementary, Middle, or High School is not a Spencerville Student, the fastest Spencerville student will also be acknowledged, but will not win the award.)  Awards will be presented in 10 year age categories for runners above school age starting at 18 years old. (18-27),(28-37),(38-47),(48-57),(58-67),(68+)  Awards will be presented in a ceremony after the race has concluded.

Registration: Participants that register after March 15th 2019 Will not be guaranteed a T-Shirt on Race Day.  Online Registration Closes Monday April 1, 2019 at 8:00 pm. Packet pickup or same day registration available for $45.00

Early Packet Pick-Up Date: April 5, 2019 from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM at SAA

Waivers: All waivers must be signed via online registration process.

Parking- parking will be limited on campus but we will have additional parking available at Burtonsville Park located behind the school off Oursler Road if needed.

Race Time Results- This event will be professionally managed and chip timed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC. Results will be displayed shortly after the last participant crosses the finish line or may be accessed at a later time at www.bluecheetahtiming.com
