Triathlon : Swim 500 Yards, Bike 11.2 Miles, Run 3.1 Miles |
The Tri-Bulathon is more than just a triathlon. It’s an event that supports youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for children, adults, and families in our community. This will be a sprint triathlon, and is a timed event. Distances are 500 yard swim, 11.15 mile bike, and 5K run. Limit 150 triathletes. The fees are $40 individual or $75 team if pre-registered, or $50 individual and $85 team on the day of the race. Race day registrations will be available from 6:30 to 7:30am. All participants will receieve a shirt while supplies last. Shirts are not guaranteed unless registered by August 1. Awards will go to the top male and female overall, as well as the top 3 males and females in each age group. Contact Brian at 440-997-5321 or at [email protected] for more information.
-:- Race starts with a 500 yard open water swim in Lake Erie off Walnut Beach.
-:- Transition to bike at the beach and make 11.15 mile loop on area roads.
-:- Return to beach to transition to run, and make 5K loop on area roads,

Take Route 11 through Ashtabula, north until it dead ends on E 6th St. Turn left and continue over the lift bridge. Stay on the same road, which will be called Bridge St after crossing the bridge. Turn right at the traffic light onto Lake Ave, and follow Lake Ave straight into Walnut Beach Park.
