What/Why: FLIP’s 8th Annual Darby Creek Trail Run- 5k Run/Walk & 10k Trail Run When: Saturday, July 13, 2019. Registration begins at 7:45am. Races begin at 9am. After party directly when races are complete (RAFFLE PRIZE GALORE) Where: Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park, 1775 Darby Creek Drive, Galloway, OH 43119 Registration Page: http://www.racepenguin.com/events/darbycreektrailrun/ Race Background/Information: The course will be a 5k and 10k trail run through the picturesque but challenging terrain of Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. The 5k is relatively flat and can be enjoyed by runners and walkers of all skill levels. The 10k is a true challenge ending in a stair climb that has become infamous among the Columbus trail running community. In keeping with FLIP’s goal to encourage a cancer preventative lifestyle, FLIP encourages every level of fitness to come out and enjoy the scenery. Running strollers are allowed on the 5k course, but not the 10k. Please no furry friends for the safety of all participants. FLIP recognizes that cancer prevention requires a dynamic shift in our thinking and is empowering individuals to engage in preventing cancer using a holistic approach:
