_ The 2019 All Ability Tri4Youth and Family Fun Fair:
The All Ability Tri4Youth and Family Fun Fair provides an opportunity for youth and young adults with and without disabilities to participate in a triathlon together and for families experiencing disability to build community and gather resources to better access community sport and recreation. Through this one-of-a-kind event, FACT Oregon aims to change the face of disability and bring the power of inclusion to community sports.
The All Ability Tri4Youth is a barrier free sporting event, consisting of a 50 meter swim, a 2 mile bike course, and a 1/2 mile run/walk. Every athlete will be cheered and supported from start to finish, cross a finish line, and receive a race medal. Our Family Fun Fair features activities for kids of all ages, vendors, community resources, music, lunch, and more. Join as a race participant (either individually or as part of a team led by someone experiencing disability), a fan/spectator, or a volunteer. Create your own fundraising page, and raise awareness and financial support for FACT Oregon's work empowering families experiencing disability across Oregon.
How can we support you, your family, and your friends to participate? Let us count the ways! Our step-by-step registration process helps registrants identify appropriate levels of support. Plus, we're only a phone call or email away to talk through your particular situation. Whether you're a first-time athlete or a veteran racer, have a disability or not, the All Ability Tri4Youth and Family Fun Fair is your chance to create lifelong memories, challenge perceptions of disability, raise expectations for one another, make new friends, and build new community connections!
