_ The 2019 USA Triathlon Pennsylvania State Championships at the Mighty Moraine Spring Event:
The Mighty Moraine Man Spring Sprint Triathlon is a 750 meter swim, 12.5 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run at the North Shore, Lake View Beach Area at Moraine State Park. Enjoy a beautiful swim in Lake Arthur, a rolling hills bike course through Moraine State Park and a run along the scenic bike trail at Moraine. We will also feature a duathlon, advenutre race, aqua bike and team relay as well as super sprint distances with a 400 meter swim, 6.2 mile bike and 1.5 mile run.
Additional Information & Event Schedule:
Packet pick-up will be Tuesday and Wednesday evening the 14th and 15th at a location in Carnberry Township and on Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Moraine State Park, South Shore. There will not be any packet pick-up on Race Morning.
Transition open at 5:30 AM on Race Morning.
Transition area closes at 7:00 AM
First wave starts at 7:30 AM Duathlon
7:35 AM Adventure Race
7:40 AM Triathlon and Aqua Bike Sprint Waves start.
The Super Sprint will start at 8:30 AM
Awards ceremony at 10:00 AM
Course Information:
The swim will be a clock wise loop at Lake Arthur at the North Shore.
The bike is rolling hills through the park and on the roads
The run is rolling hills on the bike path
Directions:
Take 79 North or South. Get off the exit and head west on 422. Take the Moraine State Park North Shore Exit. Follow North Shore Drive past teh Bike Rental Area and go another 3 miles to teh entrance to Lakeview Beach and where the disc golf course is.
Park in the first parking lot.
