_ The 2019 Avery VFD Fish Fry Gravel Grind:
Avery Community VFD Spring Fish Fry fund raiser and annual bicycle gravel grind. Route follows the NETT North East Texas Trail and portions of the RAT (Ride across Texas) gravel routes. East NETT ride will be 25 miles,c-stores in Dekalb at 9 mile mark., there will be a rest stop at the 15.1 mile mark at Big Woods Church and route comes back by Avery VFD at 25 mile point for drinks etc. (ride can be made shorter by detouring on county roads) route maps available for this, just ask us.. West ride will be 13 miles. Some NETT Trail, some pavement and a lot of gravel. Route is mostly flat. Will be self supported, SAG will available if needed (just give us a call).
