_ The 2nd Annual Stacey DeHaven Memorial 5K and Fun Run Event:

The 2nd Annual Stacey DeHaven Memorial 5K and Fun Run takes place at beautiful Gypsy Hill Park.  The course winds through the park up and down gentle sloping hills over paved park roads. Stacey would run through this picturesque setting in the mornings.  

All proceeds will go to the Stacey DeHaven Memorial Fund to support young gymnasts.  The race will be held the day before the 30th anniversary of Stacey's birth on March 31, 1989.  Stacey owned and managed Head Over Heels Gymnastics for several years, transforming it from a small group of gymnasts into a thriving, energetic gym that was continually growing beyond its space.  Stacey had a passion for gymnastics and instructing the kids.  Proceeds from the race will honor her passion and allow other children to fully pursue their passion while following in her footsteps.

Entry Fee increases by $10 for the 5K and $5 for the Fun Run starting March 10, 2019.  Sign up now!

All participants who are signed up by March 10th are guaranteed a tee-shirt.

Event details and schedule

Race packets can be picked up the evening of Friday March 29, 2019 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Gypsy Hill Park between the pond and the parking lot for the baseball fields.  Race packets will also be available Saturday morning at the same location from 8:30am-9:30am.  The kids 1 Mile Fun Run will be held at 9:30am.  The 5K begins promptly at 10am.  There is some parking throughout the park and ample parking at the parking lot at the football and baseball field where packets are picked up.  The parking lot is at the end of 116th Regimental Road.
