_ The 36th Annual St. Paddy’s Five Miler:

Come and race, ye lads and lasses! This Spokane classic is a Springtime tradition you don't want to miss.  The Bloomsday Road Runner Club presents the 36th Annual St. Paddy's Day Five Miler on Sunday, March 17, 2019.  With a fast, flat course from Spokane Community College, this course will offer you the opportunity to qualify for Bloomsday Second Seed.  Break your last 5 mile race time or boast your most festive St. Patrick's Day running outfit!  Bring the whole family....kids 6 and under will get to race a 300 meter run for FREE!

DATE: Sunday, March 17, 2019

LOCATION: Spokane Community College

TIME: 10am

ENTRY FEES:

  •      Registration - $15 (until March 15th)
  •      Kid’s race registration - FREE (kids 6 and under)
  •      Kid’s Cotton Race Shirt - $5 (until March 8th)
  •      Cotton/blend T-shirt - $15
  •      Hooded Sweatshirt - $30
  •      Day of race registration - $25

*Shirt orders are due March 8th. If there are extra shirts, they will be available for purchase after the race. Styles and sizes are not guaranteed.

BLOOMSDAY SECOND SEEDING

St Paddy’s Five Miler is an official qualifying race for Second Seeding at the front of the Bloomsday pack.

Qualifying times:

  • Males - 31:00 min
  • Females - 37:00 min

FOR THE LITTLE PEOPLE

There will be a fun run for boys and girls six or younger at approximately 11:30am. The distance will be 300 meters. Shirts must be preordered.


DRAWING - Two $250 prizes

The drawing for the cash prizes and other prizes will take place after the race. You must be present to win.

RACE COURSE

A fast 5 mile Bloomsday qualifying course from SCC (Spokane Community College) that follows the Spokane River to Avista on Mission. The course then loops back to Greene street with one small hill. The return is to the SCC track where the 5 mile race finishes. Interesting costumes, and lots of prizes make for a fun and festive St. Patrick's Day party.  Click Here for the USTAF Course Map.
