70.free is a do it yourself half-ironman (70.3) distance event for those triathletes who want to avoid the crowds, expense, and regulations involved with traditional half ironmans. The course is measured for the swim, bike, and run and the bike/run course map is available upon request. Please contact me if you want more info.

Course Information:
We use an out and back 1.2 mile swim course in scenic Comet Pond. We should have a volunteer in a kayak to mark the turnaround point. The boat ramp parking lot is our transition area, near your parked car. The bike and run course are quite hilly. The first 13 miles of the bike course is the same as the run course. The bike/run map will be made available upon request. Please contact me for more info.
Directions:
The Comet Pond Boat Ramp is on Route 62, about .3 miles east of the junction of Routes 62 and 68 in Hubbardston, MA, about 35 minutes northwest of Worcester, MA.
