The 2019 Atomic races have been designated as our LEFTOVER SPECIAL. This means each participant can choose 3 additional past race or swag items at packet pickup! We will be announcing early packet pickup times as the events get closer. 

The Atomic Sprint / Olympic Triathlon / Duathlon returns in 2019! You now have a choice of Sprint & Olympic triathlon or Duathlon. Wildlife abounds in this rural yet easily accessible area - beaver, deer, ground hogs, etc. Camping on-site and numerous hotels and restaurants within 5 miles in Lenoir City.

Late registration & packet pickup is Friday from 5 PM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM - location: TVA Melton Hill Dam area, directions below. Race walk through Friday at 6 PM at race site. Arrive at site Saturday no than 7 AM EST for ample time for parking, packet pickup and getting ready for event starting promptly at 8 AM EST.

Choose either a 500 meter  / 1500 meter swim in the triathlons or 5K run in the duathlon. Each event is followed by either a 18.6 mile bike and 5 K run or 40K bike and 10K run. Course map links: Sprint: Swim BIKE RUN Olympic: Swim Bike Run - 2 loops - Note: Oly swim will have two additional buoys of different color to go around each loop - no exit after 1st loop.

Melton Hill Campground - Campground is right across park access road from transition and finish area. The availability of sites should be good being earely October. Here is a link to reservations through the Recreation Resource Management site. You can get sites on a "walk-up" basis but I'd recommend viewing on-line availability, map, etc. to get a spot that wil work for you. Athlete Amenities - race packets will include: race technical t-shirt, ESM water bottle, ESM socks, ESM swim cap (tris - must be worn). FINISHER MEDALS for all finishers. Post race food & door prizes from sponsors to be announced.  

 Registration processing fees are included in the entry fee for each event, no additional charges. Endurance Sports Management has enabled event insurance for your consideration in the event you are unable to compete. Please review this option during the registration process. 

Endurance Sports Management has a NO REFUND policy. This is based on our policy to provide 15% of GROSS REVENUES to our charity partners. Insurance is available during the registration of each event. Please take advantage of this option should you wish to insure your entry fees.

Event Cancellation / Modification Policy - If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows:

1. Endurance Sports Management in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first. 2. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between Endurance Sports Management and local officials 3. Financial: It is not financially feasible for Endurance Sports Management to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event. 4. Endurance Sports Management does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.

Event Shirts - Event shirts are NOT guaranteed to participants registering within 2 weeks of each event. Please register prior to 2 weeks prior to guarantee your race shirt.
