Triathlon : Swim 500 Yards, Bike 8 Miles, Run 2 Miles |
_ The 11th Annual Center for Fitness and Health Indoor Triathlon:
The Center for Fitness and Health is proud to host our 11th Annual Indoor Triathlon. Our Triathlon consists of a 500 yard swim in our lap pool, an 8 mile ride on a spin bike, and a 2 mile run on our indoor track. We look forward to hosting participants again this year, and we are looking forward to making this triathlon our best one yet!
Event details and schedule
Our event begins at 7:30 am in our 25 yard lap pool with our first heat of competitors. Each heat will consist of 5-6 competitors. Participants will begin right at 7:30 am. Heats will go off every 15 to 20 minutes until all participants have started their swim. Competitors will have 15 minutes to complete the 500 yard swim. If the swim is not completed in the alotted time, the participant will move on to the biking portion of the race, and they will be marked 15 minutes for the swim portion.
Competitors should be prepared to transition from the swim to the biking and running portion. A transition area will be set up around our therapy pool for quick dress and path to the spin bikes. Our spin bikes will have a set resistance on them to even out the biking portion for all contestants.
