_ The 2019 Pecos Valley Stampede:

The Pecos Valley Stampede will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Cielo Grande Recreation Area, 1612 West College, Roswell, NM 88201.  There will be a 5K Run, 5K Walk, 10K Run, 10K Walk and a Half Marathon.  There will be overall female/male awards for each race and 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each of the 9 age groups female and male.  Age groups will be 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.  Each participant will recieve a t-shirt with artwork by Kim Wiggins.

There will be a non-timed run for the 4-5 year olds (.25 miles) and 6-8 year olds (.50 miles) called the Little Bison Run.  Registration for the Little Bison Run will be held onsite and is $5 per child. Each child will recieve a youth sized shirt and a finishers medal.

Packet Pick-up/Registration

Friday, February 22, 2019 at Cielo Grande Recreation Area, 1612 West College, from 4-6pm.

Race Day Registration   (NO credit cards)

$35 onsite registration.  Onsite registration will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 6:30-8:15AM.

Little Bison Run Registration will be held from 9-10AM with their event beginning at 10:30.  Cost $5 at registration (cash or check).

Half Marathon begins at 8:00AM and the 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run/Walk begin at 9AM.

Awards and door prizes will be awarded at 11AM.
