Free To Run Foundation presents the annual New Year's Day Race for Hope 5k in Troy, Ohio on January 1, 2019. Weather has been challenging in the last few years, hurting our attendance and our bottom line. We want to keep the tradition going, however, so this year the race will be more of an informal gathering of runners and walkers who want to start of the year on the right foot by running or walking for a cause. This year the race will be a free, no frills fun run/walk taking place solely on the levee in Troy. There will not be official timing or results, so be sure to bring your watch if you want to track your time! We will provide some water and snacks to the participants. Donations will be accepted both during sign-up and at the race, to help defray the costs, and to support our charity partners. The start and finish will be at the Gazebo on the river levee bike path by Hobart Arena.
We will offer a new World Race for Hope Troy in early July 2019, which will have timing and shirts from Freeset.
