_ The 2019 MSD Heroes Challenge:
Following the tragic events at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018, our goal is to ensure that the seventeen lives lost are never forgotten.
The MSD Heroes Challenge is an annual obstacle race and yoga event taking place at the Parkland Equestrian Center and Liberty Park. Runners will partake on a 2.0 miles long race of exciting and challenging obstacles designed to fit various skill levels. Participating individuals and teams will also be able to join a yoga and meditation session. Families are encouraged to participate together.
A number of Stoneman Douglas students, our local fitness/running community, the Parkland/Coral Springs Yoga community, and the Parkland Buddies have committed to supporting the efforts and participate in the race. All funds raised will be used to provide scholarships to emerging student leaders in local schools, and to create safer communities.
