5k Awards: Overall Male & Female winners of the 5k will receive a custom canine bobble head trophy and a $100 gift certificate.

Registration:  Early Registration is $25 through Thursday, January 24th.

Friday January 25th through race day Registration is $30.  

REGISTER EARLY! No shirts guaranteed to late registrants. You must register before midnight January 20th to be guaranteed a shirt.

Additionally, 1st & 2nd place male & female in the following age groups of the 5k will receive a custom canine bobble head trophy and special prizes.

19-under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+

1 Mile Dog Awards: Fastest human dog duo will receive a custom canine bobble head trophy and a $100 gift certificate.

Additionally, runner up duo will receive a custom canine bobble head trophy and a $50 gift certificate.

Special prizes for best pet/owner look alike and best costume will be given!

T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up:  Every pre-registered participant will receive an original “Run Like an Animal 5k” LONG SLEEVE TECHNICAL T-SHIRT!

Packet pick up will be held at Sportspectrum

Thursday, January 24th from 12 pm- 7 pm and

Friday, January 25th from 10 am-5:30 pm.

You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:00am.

Special Pet Note: Please only bring dogs that are well-behaved around other dogs and people.

Proof of rabies vaccination required. (Current rabies tag on collar is sufficient.) Female dogs that are in any stage of heat are prohibited. Dogs must be on leashes at all times (maximum 6 feet). No retractable leashes, which may be hazardous in a crowd. You must remove any of your dog's waste. Relief stations and plastic baggies will be provided.

Post Party: Stick around for fun, live music, food, beer and refreshments after the race. Bring a blanket and lay out on the lawn!

7:00 a.m. Race Day Registration and packet pick up begins.

7:45 a.m. - Dog 1 mile fun run

8:15 a.m. - Ready, Set, GO! 5k

9:15 a.m. - Post race awards!!
